Steps
- Begin by patting the skinless chicken breasts or thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the warm chicken stock and honey, scraping the bottom of the pan. Let the mixture simmer for a moment.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer uncovered for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- If using cheese, sprinkle it over the chicken and cover briefly until melted.
- Garnish with dried parsley and caramelized onions. Serve hot, alongside rice or mashed potatoes.
