Steps
  1. Begin by patting the skinless chicken breasts or thighs dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, minced garlic, and sauté for 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the warm chicken stock and honey, scraping the bottom of the pan. Let the mixture simmer for a moment.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over it. Simmer uncovered for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle it over the chicken and cover briefly until melted.
  7. Garnish with dried parsley and caramelized onions. Serve hot, alongside rice or mashed potatoes.
