Preparation Steps
  1. Gather your fresh ingredients for the Peach Cherry Salsa.
  2. Mince 1 clove of garlic and finely dice 1 small red onion.
  3. Thoroughly rinse and dice 2 ripe peaches into ½-inch pieces.
  4. Halve and pit 1 cup of sweet cherries, chopping them into quarters.
  5. Finely chop 1 jalapeño pepper, removing the seeds if you prefer a milder salsa, and chop a handful of cilantro.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, add the diced peaches and quartered cherries.
  7. Incorporate the prepared garlic, chopped cilantro, diced jalapeño, and red onion.
  8. Squeeze the juice of 1 lime over the mixture and sprinkle in the lime zest.
  9. Sprinkle in a pinch of sea salt.
  10. Carefully fold the ingredients with a spatula or wooden spoon.
  11. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  12. Stir gently before serving and adjust seasoning if needed.
