Ingredients

For the Base
  • 2 cups Fresh Pineapple Choose ripe ones for the best flavor.
  • 1 cup Sliced Strawberries Fresh strawberries will have more depth in flavor.
Sweeteners and Spices
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Optional, sprinkle on top when serving.

Equipment

  • High-speed blender or food processor
  • Ninja Creami
  • Airtight Container

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Blend the Fruits: Cut 2/3 of the fresh pineapple into chunks and slice 1/3 of the strawberries. Place them in a high-speed blender. Blend on high until smooth, about 30-45 seconds.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint. Spread it evenly and seal tightly. Freeze completely, ideally overnight.
  3. Spin for Creaminess: After freezing, insert the pint into the Ninja Creami and select the Sorbet setting. Spin for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Re-spin for Texture: Re-spin up to three times. Scrape down the icy sides after the second spin to ensure a smooth texture.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Scoop the sherbet into bowls. Drizzle with honey and dust with cinnamon if desired. Serve immediately.
