  • 1 cup Fontina Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or Gouda.
  • 8 oz Turkey Use deli slices or leftover turkey.
  • 2 medium Roma Tomatoes Sliced.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil For brushing.
Optional Add-Ons
  • 1 cup Spinach or Kale Layer for added nutrition.
  • 2 tbsp Balsamic Glaze Drizzle after grilling for extra flavor.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Turkey Basil Pesto Panini
  1. Prepare the bread by spreading basil pesto on one side of each slice.
  2. Add an even layer of Fontina cheese on top of pesto side of four slices.
  3. Layer the turkey slices evenly on top of the cheese.
  4. Add sliced Roma tomatoes on top of the turkey.
  5. Assemble the panini by placing remaining slices of bread on top and pressing down.
  6. Brush the outside of both sandwich halves with olive oil.
  7. Grill the panini in a preheated skillet for 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm after slicing diagonally.
