  3. Add sugar to the onions and cook until translucent and golden (5-7 minutes).
  4. In a bowl, combine pumpkin puree, minced garlic, diced shallots, remaining onions, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir in parmesan cheese.
  5. Roll out pizza dough to about 12 inches in diameter.
