Cooking Steps
- Rinse the shell-on shrimp thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry.
- Melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add 4 cloves of minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of hot sauce, juice from half a lemon, 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning, and 1 teaspoon each of smoked paprika, black pepper, and cayenne.
- Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Carefully add the prepared shrimp to the skillet and stir to coat them evenly.
- Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on one side until they begin to turn pink, then flip to finish cooking.
- Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
- Transfer the cooked Louisiana BBQ Shrimp to a serving platter and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley.
- Serve warm, accompanied by crusty French bread.
