  • 1 can Black Beans, drained 15 ounces
  • 1 can Kidney Beans, drained 16 ounces
  • 1 can Corn Kernels
For the Broth
  • 2 cups Beef Broth or vegetable broth for vegetarian option

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the Ground Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat a medium flame and add ground beef, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until fully browned and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Sauté the Onion: Add one cup of diced onion to the pot, stirring well to combine with the beef. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion softens.
  3. Add Garlic and Season: Stir in two minced garlic cloves, one teaspoon of salt, and one teaspoon of black pepper. Cook for an additional 30 seconds to 1 minute until the garlic is fragrant.
  4. Combine Seasonings and Liquid: Sprinkle in the taco and ranch seasoning, then pour in 2 cups of beef broth along with the drained beans and corn. Mix thoroughly.
  5. Simmer to Perfection: Reduce heat to medium-low, cover the pot, and let the soup simmer for about 30 minutes.
