Preparation Steps
- In a large skillet, heat a splash of olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess grease and stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with half of the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread a thin layer of meat sauce at the bottom. Layer frozen ravioli, dollop half of the creamy mixture, and repeat until ingredients are used, finishing with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Remove foil for the last 5-10 minutes to achieve a golden crust.
- Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving with a fresh salad or garlic bread.
