For the Wrap

  • 1 cup Cucumber (diced) Bell peppers can be an alternative.
  • 1/2 medium Red onion (thinly sliced) Opt for green onions for a milder kick.
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese (crumbled) Goat cheese as an alternative.
  • 1/4 cup Kalamata olives (sliced) Green olives can be used as a milder taste.
  • 1/2 cup Hummus Tzatziki is a delightful substitute.
  • 2 cups Mixed greens (spinach or arugula) Any leafy greens work well.
  • 1 tablespoon Juice of lemon Fresh lemon is always best.
Optional
  • 1/2 cup Tzatziki sauce Enhances the wrap experience.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat for about 5–10 minutes.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine olive oil, dried oregano, ground cumin, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Whisk until cohesive.
  3. Coat the chicken breasts with the marinade and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill and cook for 6–7 minutes on each side until juices run clear.
  5. Lay whole wheat tortillas on a flat surface and gather toppings and hummus.
  6. Distribute the grilled chicken strips, tomatoes, cucumber, onion, feta, olives, and greens on each tortilla.
  7. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillings to brighten the flavors.
  8. Roll the wraps tightly, folding the sides in to secure the filling.
  9. Slice each wrap diagonally with a sharp knife for presentation. Serve immediately.
