  • 4 cloves garlic fresh minced garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream no substitutions recommended
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese fresh cheese shreds
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all ingredients and equipment.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté sliced mushrooms for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, sautéed mushrooms, garlic, heavy cream, dried thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish and pour the mixture into it, spreading evenly.
  6. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.
