- Mash the overripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
- Fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, careful not to overmix.
- Prepare the cinnamon swirl by mixing together cinnamon and sugar.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over it. Repeat.
