  1. Prepare the Baking Dish: Begin by greasing a 9x13-inch pan with butter or lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Melt Marshmallows and Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, combine 3 tablespoons of butter and 4 cups of mini marshmallows. Stir continuously until melted.
  3. Mix in the Rice Krispies: Remove from heat, stir in 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal, and press into the prepared pan. Allow to cool.
  4. Prepare the Caramel Layer: Melt about 45 caramel squares with 1/4 cup of heavy cream until smooth, then pour over the cooled Rice Krispie base and refrigerate.
  5. Melt the Chocolate Topping: Heat 1 cup of chocolate chips with 1/4 cup of heavy cream until melted and smooth, then spread over caramel layer.
