- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the French baguette or Italian sub roll in half lengthwise and place cut-side up on a baking sheet.
- Brush the inside of the bread with olive oil.
- Layer the salami, ham, and pepperoni on the bottom half of the bread.
- Distribute the provolone cheese slices over the meats.
- Add shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onions, and banana peppers on top.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Place the top half of the bread over the fillings and press down gently.
- Wrap the sandwich tightly in aluminum foil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
