Method
 

Preparation Instructions
  1. Heat approximately 2 inches of vegetable oil in a medium deep skillet over medium-high heat, reaching a temperature of 350°F.
  2. In a small saucepan, add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar, then stir in 1 cup of walnut halves. Bring to a boil and continue boiling for about 2 minutes, then transfer the walnuts onto a parchment-lined sheet to cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of mayonnaise, ½ cup of honey, and ¼ cup of condensed milk. Whisk together until smooth, then sprinkle in a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 egg whites and ½ cup of cornstarch until soft peaks form.
  5. Dip each shrimp into the batter, ensuring they are evenly coated. Fry in hot oil for about 2–3 minutes until golden brown, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Gently toss the crispy fried shrimp with the prepared sauce in a large bowl, then serve immediately garnished with candied walnuts.
