Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant but not browned.
  2. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook your choice of noodles according to package instructions, about 4–5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. While the noodles cook, whisk together 1/4 cup of hoisin sauce, 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil until smooth.
  4. Add the cooked noodles into the skillet, allowing them to crisp undisturbed for 3-4 minutes. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss everything together for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the Hoisin Garlic Noodles hot, garnishing with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
