Step-by-Step Instructions for Apple Pie Dip
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine diced medium apples, packed brown sugar, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, and fresh lemon juice. Toss until the apples are thoroughly coated.
  2. Transfer the apple mixture to a saucepan and add 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 10 minutes until apples are tender.
  3. Remove ½ cup of the cooking liquid and whisk in cornstarch until smooth, then return to saucepan. Stir continuously until dip thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Spray tortillas with cooking spray or brush with butter, coat each tortilla in cinnamon-sugar.
