Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Cream together ½ cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Gradually add 2 eggs, mixing well after each addition, then blend in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, sift together 2 cups of flour and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Slowly add this to the butter mixture, alternating with ½ cup of milk until just combined.
- Peel and dice 2 apples, tossing them with ½ cup of granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- Pour half the batter into the pan, layer the apple mixture on top, and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Pour the remaining batter on top.
- Swirl through the batter with a butter knife or skewer to create marbling.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Whisk together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of milk, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract for the glaze, then drizzle over the cooled bread.

Notes
Ensure apples are patted dry to avoid excess moisture. Allow bread to cool completely before glazing. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
