Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, honey or maple syrup, molasses, fresh ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until thickened. Stir in vanilla extract and cool before straining.
  2. Optional: Rim your serving glass with gingerbread syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes. Pour in vodka and Kahlúa, then add gingerbread syrup. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Slowly pour heavy cream over the back of a spoon to create a layered effect.
