  • 2 cups Marinara Sauce Homemade or store-bought
For Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Equipment

  • Colander
  • Mixing bowl

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Ghostly Lasagna
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Layer noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, shredded chicken, and shredded mozzarella. Repeat layers and finish with marinara sauce and mozzarella on top.
  5. Cut low-moisture mozzarella into ghost shapes and place them on top of the cheese layer. Add sliced black olives for eyes.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, squeeze excess moisture from spinach before adding to the filling to prevent a watery lasagna. You can also assemble a day ahead for convenience.
