Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of softened butter, 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley. Stir until smooth.
  2. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on one side of each of the 4 slices of bread.
  3. Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a preheated skillet over low heat. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheese evenly across both slices.
  4. Carefully place the remaining slices of bread on top of the cheese, butter-side facing up.
  5. Preheat the skillet and gently cook the sandwich for 4–5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the sandwich using a spatula and cook for an additional 4–5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, cool slightly on a wire rack, slice in half, and serve immediately.
