Step-by-Step Instructions for Lucky Charms Rice Krispie Treats
  1. Grease a 9"x13" baking dish with butter and set aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mini marshmallows and heat in 20-second increments until melted.
  3. In a separate bowl, melt salted butter using similar increments. Mix with marshmallows.
  4. Pour melted butter into marshmallow mixture and microwave for another 20 seconds. Stir until smooth.
  5. Add green gel food coloring to the mixture and stir well.
  6. Fold in Rice Krispies and Lucky Charms cereal gently.
  7. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish and press down gently to create an even layer.
  8. Sprinkle extra mini marshmallows on top while still warm, pressing down gently.
