Basic Instructions

  3. Cream together the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  6. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
  7. Shape the dough into balls, flatten slightly, and place on the baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9-10 minutes until the edges are set and tops are golden, then cool for 5 minutes on the sheets.
  9. Beat together softened cream cheese and unsalted butter until fluffy, then mix in powdered sugar and lavender.
