  • 8 oz Cooked Shell Pasta Any pasta shape can work.
For the Protein
  • 2 links Applegate Chicken Sausage Can substitute with turkey or plant-based sausage.
For the Veggies
  • 1 small Zucchini Can be replaced with yellow squash.
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach Kale or other greens can be used.
For the Sauce
  • 4 oz Light or Reduced-Fat Cream Cheese Alfredo sauce can also be used.
For the Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
For Cooking
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil Can also use olive oil spray.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil salted water, add the shell pasta, and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Veggies: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté zucchini for 4 minutes, then add spinach and cook for another 2 minutes until wilted.
  3. Add the Chicken Sausage: Stir in chicken sausage and sauté for 3-4 minutes until heated through and golden.
  4. Combine Everything: Add the drained pasta to the skillet, mix in cream cheese or Alfredo sauce, and stir until evenly coated.
  5. Season & Serve: Add salt, pepper, and fresh herbs if desired. Serve warm in bowls.
