  • 8 oz Dill Havarti Cheese Can substitute with Monterey Jack or Cheddar
  • 1/2 cup Dill Pickles Well-drained and dried
  • 2 tbsp Butter Generous amount for cooking

  • 1 handful Dill Pickle-Flavored Potato Chips Add while the sandwich is warm

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Slice day-old sourdough bread into thick slices.
  2. Chop dill pickles into small pieces and slice dill havarti cheese into 1/4-inch slabs.
  3. Layer half of the sliced cheese on one slice of bread, add chopped pickles, and cover with remaining cheese.
  4. Butter the outer sides of both slices of bread with approximately 1 tablespoon each.
  5. Preheat a skillet over medium-low heat and place the sandwich in it, cooking for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Flip the sandwich, pressing down gently, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from skillet, add dill pickle-flavored potato chips, slice diagonally, and serve immediately.
