Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cheese, salsa verde, ground cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Stack the corn tortillas, wrap in a damp paper towel, and microwave on high for about 30 seconds until warm.
  3. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the chicken mixture onto the lower third of each warm tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling.
  4. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  5. Carefully place the taquitos seam-side down into the skillet. Fry them for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer fried taquitos to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
