Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. Sauté Chicken: In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add diced chicken, season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes, then remove.
  3. Create the Sauce: In the same skillet, add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, onion, and garlic. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until onion is translucent.
  4. Add Cream and Broth: Pour in cream and broth, stirring to combine. Season with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Combine Pasta and Chicken: Return chicken and pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Serve: Remove from heat, serve hot with grated Parmesan cheese and parsley on top.
