Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of cooked and shredded chicken, 1 ½ cups of diced ham, and 1 ½ cups of shredded Swiss cheese.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together ½ cup of sour cream, ¼ cup of milk, 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, ½ teaspoon of onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Pour the creamy sauce over the chicken and ham mixture and stir gently until well coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared 9x13 inch baking dish and top with the remaining ½ cup of Swiss cheese.
- Mix ½ cup of bread crumbs with 2 tablespoons of melted butter and sprinkle evenly over the cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow the casserole to cool for about 5-10 minutes before serving.
