- Start by dicing the small onion and measuring out the garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion, cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the cooked beef and onion. Mix in pizza sauce over low heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer the beef mixture, then half the mozzarella, pepperoni, and frozen tater tots. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
