Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a rapid boil. Add the cauliflower and broccoli, cooking for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp, then drain thoroughly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and milk. Whip until smooth, then season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Fold the cooled cauliflower and broccoli into the creamy mixture, then mix in crumbled bacon and half the shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish, spreading evenly. Top with remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle with panko breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve.
