Baked Egg Boats Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausages in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes, then slice into rounds.
  3. Hollow out the baguette by cutting a 'V' shape on the top, leaving a sturdy edge.
  4. Melt butter and brush it inside the hollowed baguette.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cheeses, scallions, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the baguette and top with sausage slices.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
