Baked Egg Boats Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Cook the breakfast sausages in a skillet over medium heat until browned, about 6-8 minutes, then slice into rounds.
- Hollow out the baguette by cutting a 'V' shape on the top, leaving a sturdy edge.
- Melt butter and brush it inside the hollowed baguette.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cheeses, scallions, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the baguette and top with sausage slices.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the egg is set and the top is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving warm.
